Chau was first introduced to CrossFit after having her first baby about 1 year ago while looking for an outlet of everyday rigors in the shortest amount of time possible. As a long time Bikram yoga practitioner, she soon found that with a new baby, 90 minutes of class in addition to travel time was no longer feasible. With CrossFit, she could easily fit in a one-hour class into her new life and achieve the same amount of work and satisfaction. With a B.S. in Biology & Sociology followed by a Master's in Healthcare Administration, Chau's education has been heavily focused on health and science in many different aspects. Coming from a health/science education and work background for the last decade, CrossFit as a career was the perfect fit and a dream come true. "For the last 10 years I was working on the other end of the health spectrum, the sick end. Patients only got temporarily better but never quite completely cured. When I started CrossFit, it occurred to me that this phenomenon of caveman eating coupled with constantly varied, functional movements could change one's life and completely reverse the damage and false mantras of fitness. I witnessed it firsthand in my life as well as my husband's life, we have never been healthier or more fit even when we were in the prime of our youth!"

Chau works hard everyday to expand and share her knowledge and skills of nutrition and CrossFit to make CrossFit Armada a strong community based box. "I am so excited to be given such a gracious opportunity to forever change lives in ways people do not even know possible!"

"Before starting CrossFit, I was very unhappy with my workout routine. I felt like I was not getting the results I wanted and boredom kicked in. One day I heard about CrossFit through a co-worker and I was instantly drawn. I signed up the next day, and BOOM, I fell in love with CrossFit. I loved the challenges, the community, and to this day, I still have the same love for CrossFit as I did on my first day. I really love how CrossFit forces me to challenge myself emotionally, mentally, and physically. CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways that I can go on and on about it. The most important thing CrossFit has done for me is given me a never ending pursuit of getting better, stronger, healthier, and fitter. This pursuit is what I want to share with everyone in the CrossFit community."

  • National Qualifier – USAW - 2014

Anthony has been involved in sports his entire life. From a very young age, he played in a variety of sports ranging from soccer, to lacrosse, to quarterback for his high school football team. He discovered his passion while in high school when he began Olympic style weightlifting, in 2010.

Anthony has spent a great deal of time dedicating himself to his craft and is currently training for Olympic trials in 2016 with the ultimate goal of participating in the 2020 Olympic Games.

During his weightlifting journey, Anthony found CrossFit, the perfect partner to help him achieve his ultimate goals and objectives. In 2012, he participated in the Arnold Classic, in Columbus Ohio, as part of a CrossFit team competition. Since that time, CrossFit has become an integral part of his training regimen, so much so that Anthony took on the challenge of training others in the sport of CrossFit.

“CrossFit has opened up a new world for me and it is my challenge and honor to help others achieve their goals.”
